Post 3: My Favorite Piece of Technology

 Hello, I tell you that my favorite piece of technology is the cell phone. Generally I spend a lot of time occupying it, since I am entertained by watching videos on tiktok, seeing funny images, taking photos or videos and chatting with my friends. I find it a very good way to be able to communicate and get distracted from some things, although it can be a vice if we spend a lot of time with it. Sometimes it usually happens to me that I get distracted from my studies when I see my cell phone, which I know is wrong and plays against it.


I highly recommend using this device since apart from entertainment it allows us to keep informed of the people we know or what is happening in the world. But you have to know how to use it with modality and not generate a vice from it.

Hello everyone, my name is Alexia Palma Espinoza and I study chemistry and pharmacy at the University of Chile. I live in Santiago de Chile, specifically in Maip煤, since I was a baby I have lived there with my mother and her boyfriend, since I am an only child and my parents are separated. Since I was little I was always very pampered by my mother and since I was alone at home since I was a child I got used to having my personal space and silence. I am very good at eating junk food, especially McDonald's. I really like listening to music with headphones, it distracts me from all things. And the truth is that right now I don't have specific tastes since I listen to practically everything.

Post 5: An Expert/ Person in your field that you admire

  Hello everyone, one of the people I admire is Fanny Elizabeth Potter, she is French and in 1970 she was the first woman to qualify for registration in the Pharmaceutical Society after the Pharmacy Act of 1868. Despite this, in that At that time, women could not qualify for prizes, nor to work in the chemical laboratories of the Society, which is why I admire her, since she encouraged women of this time to dare to want to dedicate themselves to this, although in society they did not it would look good. Although they could work as pharmacists, women had no rights within the Society and therefore no role to play in regulating the profession. This is why I like her, since despite all the problems that existed, she proposed it to her anyway, and she managed to do it. Perhaps without the first women who were driven to follow their dreams, society today would not be the same.

Post 4: A picture I like

Hello everyone, I tell you that my favorite photo is this. It was taken by the mother of a friend on our study tour to Argentina, especially Bariloche in 2019. This photo brings back many beautiful memories of that time since this trip was my first trip to another country alone. At first I was curious about what was going to happen but nevertheless along the way I managed to enjoy the trip a lot together with my friends. We visited many places, we went to parties, we tried new foods and especially new chocolates, since they make some very delicious ones there. I also met new people from other schools who were on the same bus, I can say that to this day I still talk to some of them because I am very fond of them. Well, this is my favorite photo because it takes me back to those years and those moments where I was very happy. I would really like to do it again.
